2019 saw the completion of the fifth satisfaction survey of recent graduates and the second satisfaction survey of master's graduates. The survey population this year was expanded to cover a total of 39 affiliated faculties and schools (of the 50 that exist) and also included graduates of Arts higher education programmes from ten (10) schools, together with graduates from the twelve (12) universities in Catalonia.

The overall results were constant and reinforce conclusions arrived at in the previous editions of the survey. Of these the following stand out:

Graduates of bachelor degrees

• Once again, the approval rating of university graduates as regard their overall satisfaction with courses offered at Catalan universities was 7,4.
• The graduate population drew attention to the high quality of teaching staff, the courses of study and the online campus. They also pointed out the ample room for improvement as regards student support, academic matters and services.
• In terms of subject areas, graduates in Experimental Sciences and Health Sciences were the most satisfied, whereas graduates in Engineering and Humanities were the least satisfied.
• Professional skills acquisition was the strong point for graduates of Experimental Sciences, Health Sciences and Engineering. Communication skills and professional skills were the strong points for graduates of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Graduates of master's degrees

• The approval rating of master's graduates for their level of satisfaction was 6,9 (just below an A). 
• They particularly valued the teaching and learning process and the quality of teaching staff, whereas their rating for student support was lower.
