Indicators on educational quality, learning outcomes, employment and student satisfaction are invaluable for evidence-based decision-making.
A culture of excellence built on objective, universally applicable criteria places quality at the heart of assessment and drives continuous improvement in degree programmes and universities. Transparent assessment results strengthen public trust in our university system.
This is why AQU Catalunya’s Estudis Universitaris de Catalunya (“University Degree Programmes of Catalonia”, or EUC) portal is such a valuable tool. This digital platform offers reliable, organised and accessible information on assessments of bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees and university centres at all Catalan universities, and opens up verified data that can prove crucial when making academic decisions. Indicators on educational quality, learning outcomes, employment and student satisfaction are invaluable for evidence-based decision-making.
For prospective university students, the EUC portal is a source of verified information, but it is also a guidance tool that helps them map out their educational pathways. For families, it offers transparency and objective support when choosing a university degree programme, a decision that will shape their children’s futures.
The Education Fair, established in 1990, has become a leading event for schools, students and families making the transition from secondary to higher education. It was the ideal setting to showcase the EUC portal, and AQU Catalunya took the opportunity to introduce it to the general public during its first participation this year.
In a space that brings together students, families and educational institutions, promoting this tool enabled us to put it directly at society’s disposal and reinforce its role in raising public awareness, guiding prospective students and building trust in the Catalan university system.
