AQU Catalunya, in collaboration with the Catalan universities, is funding a call for grant applications to the value of 35,000 euros with the goal of improving the understanding and diagnosis of the transition from higher education to employment of university graduates, and to define specific actions to contribute to the improvement and enhancement of university degrees and courses.

In order to achieve these set objectives, the grant is to be divided according to the three areas of study: equity in access to and going on from university courses, the effect of the crisis on university study programmes and the carrying out of an international comparative study and benchmarking using the data on graduate destinations obtained in the 2014 sample.

The time-limit for a ruling on this call for applications is six months from the date when such ruling is published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Government of Catalonia (DOGC). If no formal decision has been issued and notified within this period of time, the grant application shall be deemed to have been unsuccessful

Researchers and/or research groups at Catalan universities are eligible to apply, and study papers should be submitted to AQU Catalunya no later than 30 September 2015. Groups that are selected will be required to present their results and findings in a workshop to be organised by AQU Catalunya for academic managers and programme planning and guidance staff from universities in Catalonia.
