The satisfaction survey provides an opportunity for all students to evaluate their university experience and allows their voice to be heard, offering a valuable source of information that helps universities improve their degree programmes for current and future students.
We now present the second three-yearly report on the satisfaction of bachelor's degree holders and the first three-yearly report on the satisfaction of master's degree holders at Catalan universities, which includes the opinion of the graduating classes that completed their studies between 2018 and 2020, from the seven public and four private universities in Catalonia. In the case of bachelor's degrees, the survey collected around 25,500 responses, accounting for 26.3% of all graduates. For master's degrees, 14,000 (23.7%) were collected and ensure that the results of this study are sound and reliable.
The overall results of these reports show that satisfaction with bachelor's and master's degree studies is solidly established and reinforce the conclusions obtained in previous years. The following are of particular note:
Overall satisfaction with bachelor's and master's degrees
- Both bachelor's (7.2) and master's degrees (7.0) get a "B". 77.2% of bachelor's degree students and 74.4% of master's degree students would repeat their programme.
- No discipline scored less than 7.0, with the exception of the master's degree in Social Sciences, which received a score of 6.9.
Satisfaction with the bachelor's and master's degree final projects and external work placements
- Bachelor’s and master’s degree programme graduates' satisfaction with their final degree projects rates positively in general, although it varies by discipline.
- External work placements are particularly highly valued by people with a master's degree (7.4) and, in particular, people from the field of Experimental Sciences.

- Satisfaction with the improvement of communication, personal and professional skills is high in all types of degrees and in all fields of knowledge.
- There is room for improvement in the level of satisfaction with the acquisition and improvement of professional skills in the bachelor's degree in Humanities and in the improvement of communication skills in Engineering bachelor’s degrees.

- Noteworthy is the high score received by the virtual campus, the facilities and the library from graduates in Experimental Sciences.
