AQU Catalunya hosted the first meeting in 2011 of the Board of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).

The President and Vice-president of ENQA, Achim Hopbach and Fiona Crozier, also met with the QPP Visions for the future group, the aim of which is to identify innovative practices in external quality assurance processes. Coordinated by AQU Catalunya, the project includes the participation of the CEE Network (the Central and Eastern Europe network of agencies).
