AQU Catalunya participated in the Biennial Forum of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) held in Tallinn, Estonia, on 26-28 May. Under the title of "Partnerships in Quality Assurance in Higher Education" the following matters were dealt with:

• How QA processes can benefit from engaging different groups of external stakeholders, such as employers and students.
• The importance of including a variety of stakeholders with differing perspectives and how this can be done.
• Internationalisation and globalisation in quality assurance.
• Are changes necessary in quality assurance as a result of the increasing use of MOOCs and RPL (recognition of prior learning)?

The 2014 Forum was the first to be held under AQU Catalunya as the INQAAHE Secretariat, which was actively involved in organising the event. The Agency's director, Martí Casadesús, attended the Board meetings and the organisation's General Assembly held within the setting of the Forum as INQAAHE secretary.
