Maria Pau Ginebra Molins and Alicia Granados Navarrete joined the Agency’s Board in March. Professor in the Department of Material Sciences and Metallurgical Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Ginebra Molins was appointed by the Minister for Industry, Universities and Enterprise and replaced Victòria Salvadó Martín.

Granados Navarrete joined the Board of Management from her post as chairwoman of the Social Council at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and she replaced Rosa Cullell Muniesa. Granados has a PhD in Medicine from the Universitat de Barcelona and is a Health Technology Assessment Policy manager with MSD Espanya.

Lastly, and following his appointment as Director General for Research, Joan Roca Acín is a new member of the AQU Catalunya Board of Management.
