AQU Catalunya participated in the Employabilité et Insertion Professionnelle des Lauréats de l'Enseignement Supérieur seminar held in Rabat on 27 and 28 September, where it presented the Catalan model for graduate employment surveys.

The meeting formed part of a Tempus programme project by the European Commission to expand the Italian Almalaurea initiative to other countries in the Mediterranean, the aim being two-fold:

• For universities to have information on the employment outcomes of their graduates to provide them with better information on the labour market in relation to university students, and
• So that graduates can improve their employment prospects via an on-line web portal which combines academic data (provided by the university giving the award) with data provided by the students themselves.
