AQU Catalunya participated in the Employabilité et Insertion Professionnelle des Lauréats de l'Enseignement Supérieur seminar held in Rabat on 27 and 28 September, where it presented the Catalan model for graduate employment surveys.
The ENQA General Assembly in Bucharest10.10.2011
The General Assembly of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) was held in Bucharest on 6-7 October. The event was of particular significance in that it saw the dissolution of ENQA as an association based in Helsinki and its establishment as an association legally established in Brussels and subject to regulation under Belgian law.
Second international external review of AQU Catalunya27.09.2011
Behind its willingness to again undergo the international external review process for QA agencies, AQU Catalunya harbours a twofold desire. On the one hand, its desire to equal and, if possible, improve its rating in the first international review in 2007 and, on the other, to possess a valuable instrument for moving forward with the continuous enhancement of its activities from an international perspective.
Overall assessment of the accreditation programme for senior lecturer and professorial staff, 2003-201022.09.2011
During this time, fifteen (15) calls were made for research accreditation and 3,368 applications were received, of which 1,616 (50%) were favourably assessed. Fifteen calls were made for advanced research accreditation and 1,084 applications were received, of which 615 (58%) were favourably assessed.
Review of the teacher assessment programme (junior lecturers and auxiliary teaching staff), 2003-201015.09.2011
During this time, eighteen (18) calls for applications were made for the assessment of junior lecturers and 5,060 applications were received, of which 3,003 (60%) were favourably assessed. Fifteen calls were made for auxiliary/collaborating teaching staff and 4,275 applications were received, of which 2,750 (66%) were favourably assessed.

AQU Catalunya has finished the assessment of the design of internal quality assurance systems of the institutions that have participated in the 2010 call of the AUDIT programme.
