What is the employment outcomes study?
The study of the employment outcomes of graduates, coordinated by AQU Catalunya, is the result of the interest of public and private Catalan universities, affiliated centres and higher arts education centres in Catalonia in obtaining data and references on the quality of their students' employment following graduation.
This study, which has been carried out every three years since 2001, covers the employment rate, the quality of employment and the skills developed. It is one of the most representative and important studies in Europe in this field.
The 9th edition: who is participating and how?
Nearly 1,600 degree programmes will be taking part in this edition, with some 45,000 people expected to be surveyed: 25,000 bachelor’s degree and higher arts education graduates, 18,000 master’s degree graduates and 3,000 doctoral degree graduates. These figures represent approximately half of the reference population.
The graduating classes that will participate in the study are as follows:
- Bachelor’s degrees: 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 (Medicine: 2018-2019 and 2019-2020).
- Higher arts education, master's degree and doctoral degree: 2020-2021 and 2021-2022.
The study will be rolled out in two phases: from November to December 2025, the first phase of fieldwork will be carried out via email. Subsequently, between January and May 2026, the remaining individuals will be contacted by telephone.
