Employers opinion
The studies serve to find out the opinion of companies and organisations based in Catalonia as to whether university training responds to their needs. The ultimate aim of the study is to provide the university system with information that will enable it to assess whether the training on offer needs to be adapted to the needs of the labour market.
Together with the Catalan universities and with the collaboration of the ”la Caixa” Foundation, AQU Catalunya is launching the third edition of the survey of employers from 27 May to 15 July 2021.
The survey aims to find out the opinion of companies and organisations based in Catalonia as to whether university training responds to their needs; The ultimate aim of the study is to provide the university system with information that will enable it to assess whether the training on offer needs to be adapted to the needs of the labour market.
The key questions about the skills of recent graduates are:
- How satisfied are employers with the training of graduates?
- How satisfied are employers with the training of students on internships?
- What factors explain the difficulties in recruiting companies?
- What skills do they miss?
The survey has been adapted to 17 educational fields in order to obtain more precise information about the particularities of different degrees, as well as the specific needs of companies and organisations that recruit graduates from different educational backgrounds.
This year, in order to encourage participation in the survey, companies and organisations that respond to the questionnaire will be entered in a draw to win a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop (or equivalent)!
