ShareAction plan
The CoARA Action Plan 2025–2029 sets out the action plan that AQU Catalunya has undertaken to follow in order to implement the commitments it accepted when it joined the CoARA (Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment) in 2022. The document, also available at Zenodo, sets out how these commitments will be implemented over the next four years, extending to 2029. The steps required to fulfil the CoARA commitments involve the entire Agency and also provide for the potential deployment of new tasks assigned to AQU Catalunya by law. The plan comprises 9 strategic lines, broken down into 23 specific actions.

With regard to people
- Strategic line 1: Reform of the assessment criteria for the accreditation of university teaching staff
- Strategic line 2: Adaptation of the CVs of academic staff to the new assessment criteria
With regard to institutions
- Strategic line 3. Development of criteria for institutional-level research assessment
With regard to AQU Catalunya
- Strategic line 4. Reduction of the administrative burden
- Strategic line 5. Community engagement
- Strategic line 6. Expert committees and training of AQU Catalunya staff
- Strategic line 7. Monitoring of the system and publication of results
- Strategic line 8. Participation in CoARA working groups and the Spanish National Chapter
- Strategic line 9. Promotion of open science in research assessment
