AQU Catalunya approves draft of Action Plan and Budget for 2024
Yesterday at Ramon Llull University in Barcelona, the Agency held its Governing Board's 18th meeting, at which the new members of the Research Assessment Commission (CAR) were appointed. The meeting was preceded by a session on AQU Catalunya's new powers within the framework of the Organic Law on the university system (LOSU) and the Science Act, presided over by the Minister for Research and Universities and the president of the Agency.

The AQU Catalunya Governing Board met for the 18th time yesterday, at Ramon Llull University in Barcelona. At the meeting, the Agency's highest management body addressed several issues. First of all, the head of the AQU Catalunya Internationalisation and Knowledge Generation Department, Anna Prades, presented the results of the 2023 survey on the employment outcomes of Catalan university graduates, which will be also be published in the press and on the website after the summer.
The Governing Board then approved the draft Action Plan and Budget for 2024. The green light was also given to the planning of external visits to centres offering official university degree programmes for 2024. Finally, the names of the renewed members of the Research Assessment Commission (CAR) were approved.
Prior to the AQU Catalunya Governing Board meeting, a session was held to reflect on the new functions of the Agency within the framework of the LOSU and the Science Act. The session was chaired by the Minister for Research and Universities, Joaquim Nadal, and by the president of AQU Catalunya, Francesc Xavier Grau i Vidal.
