The Technical University of Catalonia’s School of Engineering in Vilanova i la Geltrú has obtained a favourable final report certifying its Internal Quality Assurance System.

AQU Catalunya has certified the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) of the Technical University of Catalonia’s School of Engineering in Vilanova i la Geltrú. The certification verifies that the school’s IQAS is properly implemented and functioning. Additionally, Royal Decree 640/2021, dated 27 July, states that the certification of an institution’s IQAS is a crucial preliminary step in the process of securing institutional accreditation. For these reasons, the certification of the system is of maximum interest for Catalan universities.
