AQU Catalunya hosts the General Assembly of the Spanish Network of University Quality Agencies (REACU)
The assessment of university teaching staff, university-certified degrees and micro-credentials were the main topics discussed within the framework of this network comprised of ANECA and the agencies of the autonomous communities.

The General Assembly of the Spanish Network of University Quality Agencies (REACU) met today at AQU Catalunya to discuss the accreditation of teaching staff in light of the entry into force of the regulations affecting this and the quality assurance of university-certified degrees and micro-credentials.
The General Assembly is made up of the directors of the Spanish quality agencies. Participating in this session, part of the REACU's schedule of ordinary work meetings, in addition to the director of AQU Catalunya, Jaume Valls, were director of the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA), Pilar Paneque; director of the Valencian Agency for Assessment and Foresight, Javier Oliver; director of the Euskal Unibertsitate Sistemaren Behatokia, Iñaki Heras; director of the Agency for Quality Assurance in the Galician University System, Eduardo López; director of the Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d, Federico Morán; representative for the Quality Assurance Agency for the University System in Castilla y León, Blanca Ares; representative for the Aragon Agency for Quality Assurance and Strategic Foresight in Higher Education, Isabel Ortega; director of the Canarian Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation, José Saturnino, and technical director of the Agency for the Quality of the University in the Balearic Islands, Paula Ramis de Ayreflor.
The REACU is made up of ANECA and the quality agencies of the autonomous communities and works to facilitate collaboration and contribute to the establishment of common points of reference.
