AQU Catalunya meets with University QA Units and vice-rectors for quality
The Agency met with these two groups to present a report from the AQU Catalunya director addressing current Agency-related issues. These included the status of AQU Catalunya's assessment activities and of various reference documents for the design, modification and deployment of new study programmes, and the results of the fieldwork for the latest employment outcomes survey.

As it does periodically, AQU Catalunya summoned the representatives of the University QA Units of the Catalan public and private universities to the Agency's headquarters. The purpose of the meeting, which took place on 27 June, was to present to those attending the issues included in the director's report. This involved providing the University QA Units with updates on the activities under way at the Agency, most notably the latest employment outcomes survey and the status of AQU Catalunya's assessment activities as well as of the reference documents being drawn up.
Later, information was given on the state of roll-out of Royal Decree 822/2021, which establishes the organisation of university education and the procedure for ensuring its quality. The debate focused on the adaptation of validation reports to the current legal framework.
A presentation was then given on the new guide to internal quality assurance system implementation certification at higher education centres, which involves some changes that were detailed in the meeting. The planned schedule for the certification system roll-out was also discussed. This was followed by a presentation on the structure of assessment procedures and, finally, on the updated Catalan Higher Education Qualifications Framework, which has modernised the legal regulations affecting higher education qualifications and eliminated degrees of 180 credits, among other effects.
On 30 June, a similar meeting was held with the university vice-rectors responsible for quality.
