AQU Catalunya participates in a meeting on the DOCENTIA programme at Menéndez Pelayo International University
The director of the Agency, Jaume Valls Pasola, took part in the round table "Balance and challenges of the DOCENTIA programme: the vision of quality agencies".

AQU Catalunya has participated this week in the conference The qualitative evaluation of teaching performance in the Spanish university system through the DOCENTIA programme: difficulties, success stories, learning and lines of improvement. Organised by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) and held at the Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP), the meeting brought together representatives of universities and quality agencies from Spain and abroad to analyse the functioning of the DOCENTIA programme, created in 2007 by ANECA and modified for the last time in 2021.
The director of AQU Catalunya, Jaume Valls Pasola, represented the Agency yesterday at the round table discussion Assessment and challenges of the DOCENTIA programme: the vision of the quality agencies, moderated by Pilar Paneque Salgado and in which the director of the Canarian Agency for University Quality and Educational Assessment (ACCUEE), José Saturnino Martínez García, and the director of the ANECA's division for the assessment of teaching and institutions, José Luis Aznarte Mellado, also took part. The aim of the conference, which was held from 24 to 26 June, was to reflect on university teaching quality assessment in the current context of the reform of accreditation processes for both civil servant and employed teaching staff, as well as on the benefits generated by the DOCENTIA programme in higher education institutions and the shortcomings detected in relation to its implementation.
