AQU Catalunya to take part in REMOTE project webinar "Assessment in the AI era
The event, scheduled for 2 November as part of the REMOTE project, of which AQU Catalunya is a partner, aims to debate the impact that artificial intelligence tools have on student assessment in higher education institutions.
This Thursday, 2 November, the webinar "Assessment in the AI ERA" will be held from 11 am to 1 pm. The event has been organised within the framework of cooperation associations in the field of higher education that are part of the REMOTE (Assessing and evaluating remote learning practices in STEM) project, which is being financed by the Erasmus+ programme and in which AQU Catalunya is a partner.
In a changing environment, where the irruption of new technologies such as artificial intelligence is prevalent and we have a student population with new needs, several renowned international academics will reflect on the future of higher education.
The webinar will address questions such as: What will the university of the future be like? What teaching and assessment methodologies will be adopted? Which learning technologies do you think will prevail? What will the students of the future be like? How will online/remote assessment methodologies influence learning practices?

The REMOTE project is led by the University of Girona with the participation of AQU Catalunya and five other partners: the International University of Catalonia; the Politecnico di Torino, Italy; the Universidade do Minho, Portugal; Italy's Agenzia Nazionale di Valutazione del Sistema Universitario e della Ricerca and Portugal's Agência de Avaliação e Acreditação do Ensino Superior.
