As of 1 June, end of the interruption to the deadlines for the renewal of programme accreditation
As a consequence of the entry into force of Royal Decree 537/2020, 22 May, whereby the state of emergency was extended, the interruption and postponement of application dates and administrative deadlines are to be lifted as of 1 June 2020.
The single derogation provision in Royal Decree 537/2020 affects the dates and deadlines for the renewal of accreditation for recognised study programmes that were interrupted on 14 March 2020 onwards as a consequence of legislation setting in place the state of emergency.
As this interruption is now ending, the time periods for the renewal of these accreditation procedures will again come into effect from 1 June 2020 onwards. This means that the period of time comprising 14 March to 31 May should be added on to the original time period deadlines for programme accreditation.
