Completion of the second outcomes survey of graduates in Arts higher education programmes
The fieldwork has now been completed for the second outcomes survey of graduates in Arts higher education programmes, which is promoted jointly by the Government of Catalonia's Department of Education and AQU Catalunya. The aim of the survey is to serve as a key instrument in monitoring the employment situation, job conditions and satisfaction of students and graduates of these higher education programmes.
In this second edition of the survey, 488 people from the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 cohorts responded, or a 40% response rate. These results will be used in procedures to enhace study programmes in the 9 institutes and schools that participated, which accounts for practically all of the institutions that deliver Arts higher education programmes in Catalonia.
The institutes and schools that participated were:
- Liceu Conservatory of Music
- Taller de Músics
- CSD Dance Conservatory (Institut del Teatre/Diputació de Barcelona)
- ESAD School of Dramatic Art (Institut del Teatre/Diputació de Barcelona)
- School for the Conservation and Restoration of the Cultural Heritage of Catalonia
- Felicidad Duce LCI School of Design Barcelona
- School of Design and Plastics Arts of Catalonia
- ESMUC Catalunya College of Music
- IED School of Design
The study largely reflects the situation before the covid-19 crisis. The results will be published on AQU Catalunya's websites in the coming months.
