Almost 9,000 students participate in AQU Catalunya's 2023 satisfaction survey
The fieldwork for the 2023 Satisfaction Survey, which has been coordinated annually by AQU Catalunya since 2015, was completed on 31 January.
Around 9,000 students have collaborated this year with the student satisfaction survey coordinated by AQU Catalunya. This is a significant figure that serves to inform a study aimed at gathering feedback from Bachelor's, Master's and Higher Artistic Education students on issues such as the teaching-learning process, services and facilities or, among other aspects, the support mechanisms offered by academic institutions. After nine years in operation, the survey is a highly valuable source of information for the Catalan Higher Education System (SUC), as it identifies strengths and areas for enhancement in the current education system of the students and their context.
The knowledge and analysis of the indicators obtained from the survey must be used by universities to define improvement actions in undergraduate degrees, which will have a direct impact on current students and also on future ones. In the current phase of the study, AQU Catalunya has coordinated the surveys within the Technical University of Catalonia, the University of Girona, the University of Lleida, Rovira i Virgili University, Pompeu Fabra University, Ramon Llull University, from the University of Vic-UCC and the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In addition, eleven Higher Artistic Education centres were also surveyed. In total, a total of 31,090 people were contacted and a response rate of 28.6% was achieved in the case of Bachelor's degrees, and 28.8% in the case of Master's. In other words, almost 9,000 people answered the questions posed by AQU Catalunya.
The Agency would like to express its gratitude to all the people who participated in the survey. Their collaboration is the starting point for improving teaching, especially in terms of satisfaction with teaching and learning, services and equipment, and the personal impact that the degree has had on the student. As in the previous edition, all those who took part in this phase of the study and registered their participation were entered into a prize draw for an iPhone 14, whose terms and conditions can be found here.
