Irene Delgado Sotillos, new member of the Institutional and Programme Review Commission
Irene Delgado Sotillos, full professor of Political Science and Administration at the National Distance Education University (UNED), has been appointed member of the Institutional and Programme Review Commission (CAIP), with effect from 16 July 2022.

The Governing Board has appointed Dr Irene Delgado Sotillos as the newest member of the Institutional and Programme Review Commission, effective as of 16 July 2022.
Delgado Sotillos, PhD, obtained her PhD in Political Science and Administration from the National Distance Education University (UNED) in 1996 and is currently a full professor there in the Department of Political Science and Administration.
Delgado Sotillos, PhD, is actively involved in research projects funded by state and international organisations. Her current research focuses on transformations and the institutional dynamics of parliaments from a multilevel perspective and on the analysis of electoral behaviour in democracies. The main results of her studies have been presented at various scientific conferences, and she has authored scientific monographs, book chapters and articles in specialised journals. She has also carried out academic stays at universities in several countries, including the United Kingdom (Oxford and Essex), France (Bordeaux), USA (California, Berkeley), Uruguay (Montevideo) and Costa Rica (San José).
In terms of her experience in assessment, between 2015 and 2019 she was a member of the ANECA Social Sciences Commission for Teacher Assessment, and between 2016 and 2020, she was president of the Social and Legal Sciences Commission of the Madri+d Foundation's Official University Degree Programme Validation Programme. She is currently a member of the ANECA Review Panel.
