Report on employment outcomes for higher arts education graduates published
The results, very similar to those for Catalan university bachelor's degrees, show how the rates of employment and job suitability are returning to 2017 levels, before the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of the 2023 employment outcomes survey, the results for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 graduating classes of bachelor's degree programmes in higher arts education and master's degree programmes in Music were analysed. A total of 693 answers were received for bachelor's degrees, a figure that represents a response rate of almost 51% and a sampling error of 2.7%, while 89 responses were received for master's degrees, representing a response rate of 38% and a sampling error of 8.4%.
The results of the report, summarised below, were presented in a session addressed to the Ministry of Education and the centres that participated in the study:
- The higher the education level, the better the employment outcome.
