AQU modifies the Guide to the certification of IQAs implementation
AQU has modified the Guide to the certification of internal QA systems implementation.
The changes made refer to two aspects:
- The quality policy and objectives have been raised to the level of a standard, in order for them to be more apparent. This comes under standard 1.2 of Dimension 1 (IQAs review and improvement).
- The reference to the Framework for the ex-ante accreditation, monitoring, modification and ex-post accreditation of recognised degree programmes (VSMA framework) under standard 1.3 of Dimension 1 on IQAs review and improvement has been removed to avoid duplication. The reference to the VSMA framework remains in Dimension 2 (Design, review and improvement of study programmes).
