Access to databases
In order to promote the use of information on the employment outcomes of people with higher education, AQU Catalunya makes available to the academic community the databases resulting from the sets of studies on the employment outcomes of Catalan university graduates carried out to date (2001, 2005, 2008, 2011, 2014, 2017, 2020 and 2023) and from the Employers project carried out between 2013 and 2015, and 2018 and 2020.
This process aims, on the one hand, to stimulate research between the different groups or individuals involved, through the organisation of meetings, gatherings, methodological seminars or presentation of results and, on the other, to give visibility to a series of works that, within the bachelor's or master's degree training programmes, make use of job placement databases.
The databases are given to the permanent teaching staff of the universities participating in the employment outcome studies.
The procedure for requesting access to the databases is as follows:
- Fill in the database access request form.
- Download the
document of undertaking regarding access to AQU Catalunya's databases, fill it in, sign it electronically and send it attached via the application form. If you do not have an electronic signature, you will need to send two copies of the completed and signed form by post to the offices of AQU Catalunya, for the attention of the Internationalisation and Knowledge Generation Department.
Once the form for access to the databases has been received, AQU Catalunya shall assess the appropriateness of this transfer in accordance with its object and purpose, and shall communicate, within a maximum period of one month, whether or not it accepts the transfer of data.
The transfer of the databases is free of charge for the exclusive purposes of research and during the period of validity communicated by AQU Catalunya, in accordance with the object and purpose of the data transfer.
To make the transfer effective, AQU Catalunya shall deliver to the researcher in electronic format the databases with the information on the employment outcomes studies. If necessary, AQU Catalunya shall provide technical support on the use of the information included in the databases.
AQU Catalunya reserves the right, but not the obligation, to communicate and disseminate the research activity carried out by the research group on its website.
The projects and works that are prepared with the job placement databases are not subject to any type of review by the Agency, but rather are endorsed by the people who supervised them.
