Via Universitària III
Via Universitària is a program that aims to determine the profile of university students, study conditions and their satisfaction with the university and teaching. This knowledge should allow us to assess the efficiency of access, funding, academic guidance, and teaching-learning policies to ensure that students can access higher education, take advantage of their educational experience, complete their studies and have good employment outcomes.
Via Universitària acts as a tool that helps us value the equity of the higher education system. A goal more present than ever on the political agendas of higher education, from the social dimension of the Higher Education Area, to the Sustainable Development Goals (UN), the measure of the relevance of higher education (CHEPS) or the promotion of a socially responsible university (GUNI).
The third edition of the Via Universitària study has been carried out at a total of 20 universities in the Catalan-speaking Regions thanks to the driving group made up of Xarxa Vives d'Universitats, AQU Catalunya (Technical Management of the project), the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education of Andorra, the Valencian Assessment and Foresight Agency and the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Having carried out the fieldwork, a number of research groups who are experts in the field are currently evaluating the data on the effect of the Covid-19 crisis. The results are expected to be released in the spring of 2022.
