Procedure
University centres that are not institutionally accredited must prepare a follow-up report for the centre every two years. This report on their degree programmes must include the remedies applied to any discrepancies identified, propose improvements and prepare for the next accreditation process. Only centres offering degree programmes that have conditionally passed the accreditation process and/or that received recommendations from the specific evaluation commissions during the validation process are required to submit their follow-up reports to AQU Catalunya. AQU Catalunya will only assess a selection of follow-up reports from doctoral programmes and degree programmes that are not required to submit them.
The Institutional and Programme Review Commission’s specific commissions (CEAs) are responsible for evaluating these reports. AQU Catalunya issues the follow-up assessment reports to the universities, which then have one month to submit any comments in response.
The follow-up reports can be found on the EUC Estudis portal.
