International Medical Accreditation (WFME standards)
The World Federation for Medical Education is a global association established in 1972 that develops standards for medical education and promotes the accreditation of medical schools. Its goal is to improve the quality of medical education, and it is the organisation that officially and globally represents medical education and the training of doctors before the World Health Organization (WHO).
One of the main effects of accreditation is the recognition of the degrees earned by graduates from these medical schools.
