Pilot Programme to adapt qualifications to the EHEA (2004-2009)
In order to adapt Catalan university courses to the requirements of the Bologna Declaration, in the 2004-2005 academic year the ministry responsible for universities set up a Pilot Programme to adapt qualifications to the EHEA. The 2005-2006 academic year was the second time this Programme was implemented. In the two programmes, Catalan universities incorporated 82 pilot undergraduate qualifications and 17 master's qualifications.
The role of AQU Catalunya within the framework of the Pilot Plan was to:
- Produce the necessary documents in order for the initial reports on the candidate degrees participating in the plan to be prepared by those responsible for this in the university.
- Assess the report presented for each degree. The final report with the results of the assessment is sent to the DURSI where the decision is made for the degree to be included in the plan or not.
- Analyse, on an annual basis, the development of proposals included in the Pilot Plan
- Proceed with certification of EHEA-adaptation.
