The external university quality assessment agencies of Aragon, Castile and Leon, Andalusia, the Canary Islands, the Basque Country and Catalonia have jointly organised the third in the series of online conferences on the challenges in university education according to the opinion of the employer group.
This session focuses on university studies in Computer Science and Telecommunications and aims to:
- Offer a general updated view of the main challenges of university training in Computer Science and Telecommunications from the perspective of the employer group.
- Present the opinion of the employer group on the suitability of university training in Computer Science and Telecommunications based on a case study carried out in Catalonia.
- Discuss what the specific areas should be for improvement of university training in Computer Science and Telecommunications, for which the agencies will show overall results of the assessment of these programmes.
The webinar, which will be in Spanish, will feature three presentations: the results of the assessment of these studies in the different autonomous communities, the results of the opinion of the employer group in Catalonia, and an example of reorientation of the digital sector through advanced-level training specialisations. There will also be a discussion, which will take into account the questions from participants who have written in the chat, in a final round table. See programme.
The webinar is aimed at vice-chancellors, people with responsibilities linked to Computer Science and Telecommunications degrees, staff of quality agencies and university technical units, employers, professional associations, members of the Government, students and graduates.
