The assessment of the design of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) of the Universidad Abierta Interamericana (UAI) of Argentinawas carried out in accordance with the Guide to IQAS certification in higher education institutions (8th edition, 2023). The guide was adapted to fit the needs of the Universidad Abierta Interamericana, as documented in the cooperation agreement signed by the Agency and the UAI. Among other things, the agreement specifies that the design of the IQAS, rather than its implementation, will be reviewed. It also stipulates that the review will focus on the university rather than the institution.
