ShareQADoc - Capacitation pour l’Évaluation et Assurance Qualité des Formations Doctorales et de la Recherche
QADoc (Capacitation pour l’Évaluation et Assurance Qualité des Formations Doctorales et de la Recherche) is a project funded by the Erasmus+ Programme whose overall objective is to strengthen high-quality university research capacity in three African countries: Senegal, Guinea-Conakry and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The project is led by the Cellule Interne d’Assurance Qualité, the internal quality assurance unit of Université Cheikh Anta Diop, which enrols more than 70% of students in Senegal and accounts for practically the same percentage of academic and research staff.
From each country, the ministry responsible for higher education, the national quality assurance agency and two universities will participate. In the case of Senegal, the quality assurance agency involved is the Agence Nationale d'Assurance Qualité (ANAQ), which is a member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE). With regard to Guinea-Conakry, the Autorité Nationale d’Assurance Qualité Guinée will take part, while for the Democratic Republic of the Congo the participating body is the Agence Nationale d’Assurance Qualité de l’Enseignement Supérieur et Universitaire.
The project also includes European partners. As far as universities are concerned, the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, the Université de Liege in Belgium and the Université de Montpellier in France will participate. The Agência De Avaliação E Acreditação Do Ensino Superio (A3ES) from Portugal and AQU Catalunya are also partners in the project.
AQU Catalunya contributes to the development of evaluation criteria for research training, as well as to the design of a training programme on evaluation criteria for ministries, quality assurance agencies and universities. This is an interactive, international and hybrid training programme. In addition, during the project, partner visits are planned both at AQU Catalunya and at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili to learn how evaluations are organised and to gain deeper insight into the activities they carry out.
