An application for the accreditation of research is incompatible with an application for the accreditation of advanced research. In the event of the refusal of accreditation of research, any new application for the accreditation of either research or advanced research can only be made one full year following the previous call for applications to which an application has been made.
Step by Step
Once the online application has been initiated through the Gencat Procedures, you must follow the following steps:
Step 1: Apply
1. Download the application form
2. Complete, validate and save
3. Send for processing
Step 2: Make the corresponding payment and submit the documentation
Step 3: Check the status of a procedure
Step 4: Receive the asnwer from the Administration
- Please note that only one file can be attached for each type of documentation. Once files have been attached, they cannot be modified.
- In case you leave some section incomplete (without documentation), the following message will appear: "Currently this procedure has still pending requirements". You can ignore this message in case you have attached the required documents.
Once an application has been submitted, all supporting documentation must then be sent, together with the fee, through My Folder at Tràmits Gencat (the Generalitat de Catalunya's on-line applications website).
All supporting documentation must be uploaded to Tràmits Gencat within five days of an application having been sent.
All alleged merits must refer to the period prior to the deadline for application submission.
Failure to submit these documents will void the application.
The CV must include a section with a maximum one-page summary of the applicant's scientific background, together with the their ten most important scientific contributions.
With regard to section B (Publications), section C (Works of Art and Architectural Projects) and section D (Patents and Utility Models) of the CV, all data identifying stated merits must be entered, otherwise any such merits will not be considered in the assessment.
