Validation (ex-ante accreditation) of degree programmes
Before degree programmes can be launched, the proposals for the new official degrees must undergo a preliminary assessment process known as validation or ex-ante accreditation. This process aims to ensure the quality of the new degrees and their suitability for their educational level in content and form, and at the same time facilitates continuous improvement through the detection of strengths and weaknesses.
Decisions on validation applications from centres that are not institutionally accredited are issued in 6 months.
