2022: AQU Catalunya in figures
In the interest of accountability and to provide an overview of the volume of activity of AQU Catalunya, we present the infographic of Agency data for 2022.
In summary, the 2022 data for AQU Catalunya's activity are as follows:
- Regarding assessment of degree programmes and institutions, a total of 430 programme assessments were issued and 102 centres visited. The number of assessments decreased compared to the previous year due to institutional accreditation of university centres, which reduced the need for degree-by-degree assessment. The application of Royal Decree 822/2021, which establishes a maximum period of 6 years for the renewal of university master's degree programme accreditation, also had an impact on the programme assessment.
- As for teaching staff evaluations, 5,668 reports were issued, 10% more than last year. Particularly noteworthy was the substantial growth in the number of teaching, research and management merits, from 3,071 in 2021 to 3,565 in 2022.
- In the area of knowledge generation, conferences and workshops (9), publications (24), presentations (39), and participation in international projects (4) continued. Surveys were collected, although fewer than in the previous year, going from 66,691 in 2021 to 15,315 in 2022. During 2022, the Internationalisation and Knowledge Generation Department mainly worked on the groundwork phases of the surveys (database management, validation and coding, etc.), with the bulk of the fieldwork for the different surveys managed scheduled for 2023.
