2023 employment outcomes survey to collect data online and by phone
At the meeting of the Technical Committee for Surveys, AQU Catalunya explained the changes in method and content of the 2023 employment outcomes survey questionnaires, which include online data collection for the first time, backed by phone surveys.

At the Technical Committee for Surveys meeting, AQU Catalunya presented the main modifications to the employment outcomes survey for 2023, relating to the method of data collection and the content of the different questionnaires (bachelor's, master's and doctorate).
With regard to the data collection method, it has been reported that it will go from a process based solely on conducting a telephone survey to a mixed collection process, which will consist of an online survey with phone back-up. This change is expected to improve the response rate, as it will make it easier to contact those graduates who could not be located by phone.
In regard to the content, the main change is that the blocks that do not provide information relevant to the objectives of the survey have been removed and the blocks simplified to facilitate their response in the online format. The changes include: a drop in the rating scale from 7 to 10, an update of the competencies about which they are asked, and so on. Plus the possibility, with the prior authorisation of the person surveyed, of including the company where they work in the survey to analyse the employment outcomes of employers.
The Technical Committee for Surveys is made up of people from the technical teams of all the Catalan universities who are experts in carrying out surveys at their university. This committee meets to monitor the surveys coordinated by AQU Catalunya for the entire Catalan university system.
