AQU Catalunya Trains 35 People from Universitat Ramon Llull on Learning Outcomes
Academic staff and technical personnel from Ramon Llull University attended a two-hour training session on the drafting of learning outcomes, which are key elements of the programme profile for university degrees evaluated by the Specific Evaluation Commissions.
Today, AQU Catalunya trained a total of 35 people from Ramon Llull University (URL). The participants included academic staff and technical personnel who attended the session at the Agency’s headquarters. The training focused on improving the drafting of learning outcomes for the university programmes that URL centres submit for verification and modification processes, which are evaluated by AQU Catalunya’s Specific Evaluation Commissions.
The training, delivered by AQU Catalunya’s Technical Advisor Josep Manel Torres, began with a welcome from the Agency’s Director, Mercè Gisbert. It started with a brief introduction explaining what learning outcomes are, followed by a study of practical cases highlighting areas for improvement and best practices identified in the programme reports of URL degrees.
The training is the result of AQU Catalunya’s close collaboration with the Quality Technical Units of universities. Regarding the development and drafting of learning outcomes, AQU has delivered several training sessions, including those for the entire Catalan university system on Focus 1 and Focus 2, regular training for evaluation commissions, and sessions for Quality Technical Units aimed at improving the drafting of learning outcomes in university programme reports. The session was attended by the Secretary General of URL, Jesús Vilar Martín, and the Vice-Rector for Quality at URL, Elisabet Golobardes.
