As it does periodically, AQU Catalunya has met with both the representatives of the University QA Units of the Catalan public and private universities and the university vice-rectors dedicated specifically to quality. The meetings took place on 14 November and 22 November, respectively. The first was held in person and the second virtually.
One of the topics discussed with these committees was the state of institutional accreditation with regard to the 2023 and 2024 call. Four guides which had recently been updated were also presented:
- Guide to the design, validation and modification of recognised bachelor's and master's degree programmes
- Guide to the accreditation of recognised bachelor's and master's degree programmes
- Guide to the design, validation and modification of recognised PhD programmes
- Guide to the accreditation of recognised PhD programmes
Several assessment procedures were presented to both the Vice-Rectors Committee and the University Quality Assurance Units Committee: the validation and modification of recognised degree programmes, the accreditation of degree programmes, IQAS certification in higher education institutions and the institutional accreditation of university centres (pilot).
Finally, the benchmark for nursing and industrial engineering was discussed in both meetings.
