ShareAQU Catalunya takes part in the employment fair Saló de l'Ocupació for the first time

In 2026, AQU Catalunya is taking part in the employment fair Saló de l'Ocupació for the first time. The event was held yesterday and today at Fira de Barcelona's Montjuïc venue. The Agency is participating with two talks at the Xarxa Universitària per a l'Ocupació stand, where it will present the EUC portal, a tool developed by AQU Catalunya to provide useful evidence for academic guidance to people who are considering starting a programme of study or who are already studying. The two presentations were delivered by Sandra Nieto and José Luis Mateos, project managers in the Knowledge Generation and Internationalisation Area, who will introduce attendees to all the possibilities offered by the EUC portal. Bookmarks produced by the Agency were also available at the stand to promote a QR code providing direct access to the EUC.
AQU Catalunya's participation in the event is part of the various initiatives organised by the Xarxa Universitària per a l'Ocupació, which has scheduled guidance activities for attendees as well as conference sessions related to academic and professional pathways. In this context, the Agency considered it appropriate to showcase the EUC portal, a highly useful resource for supporting and guiding university and pre-university students. AQU Catalunya's participation in this event continues the initiative launched in 2026 with the Agency's first participation in the Saló de l’Ensenyament. The Saló de l’Ocupació, now in its sixth edition, is a space for academic and career guidance, employability and connections between students and the labour market.
