AQU Catalunya trains 25 people from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in learning outcomes
Academic staff and technical personnel from UPF attend a two-hour training session on the drafting of learning outcomes, which are key elements of the educational profile of the university degrees evaluated by the Specific Evaluation Commissions.
AQU Catalunya trained a total of 25 people from Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) yesterday. They were academic staff and technical personnel from the university who traveled to the Agency’s headquarters to receive this training, which focused on improving the drafting of the learning outcomes of the university degrees that UPF centers submit in verification and modification processes and which are evaluated by the Specific Evaluation Commissions of AQU Catalunya.
The training, delivered by AQU Catalunya technical advisor Josep Manel Torres, began after the welcome from the Agency’s director, Mercè Gisbert. The training started with a brief introduction to explain what learning outcomes are, and then the study of practical cases was addressed, gathering areas for improvement and good practices detected in the degree reports of UPF.
The training is the result of AQU Catalunya’s continuous work with the Quality Technical Units of the universities. Regarding the development and drafting of learning outcomes, the Agency has provided various training sessions. For example, the training aimed at the entire university system of Catalonia on Focus 1 and Focus 2, the training for the evaluation committees that are held regularly, and the training for the Quality Technical Units to improve the drafting of learning outcomes in the reports of university degrees.
