AQU Catalunya today organised the webinar The AUDIT programme. Design of internal quality assurance systems for university education, especially aimed at heads of affiliated and higher arts education centres, who must design or adapt an Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) for implementation and future assessment and certification.
The main objective of the session was to help complete the implementation of IQAS throughout the higher education system in Catalonia, and in particular to:
- Foster the development and implementation of IQAS for university training, university centres and other higher education institutions, integrating all activities related to degree programme quality assurance and ensuring that the IQAS is the instrument used to monitor training programmes.
- Implement a programme that contributes to the recognition of IQAS design through the assessment of the suitability of the IQAS designed and the subsequent certification of the IQAS implemented.
Martí Casadesús, director of AQU Catalunya, led the webinar, which was broadcast live on YouTube. First of all, Esther Huertas, Head of the Quality Assessment Area of AQU Catalunya, who presented the AUDIT programme. Alfonso Davalillo, a consultant in management systems, then explained the aspects to take into account when designing an IQAS. And finally, there was an open round of questions for the audience to clear up any doubts in a chat.
