Favourable report on the accreditation of 5 higher education degrees in the arts
AQU Catalunya has issued favourable reports for the accreditation of one dance degree, two drama degrees, and two music degrees, offered at various centres in Catalonia.
Among its functions, AQU Catalunya is responsible for accrediting higher education degrees in the arts. In this process, an external committee visit—where the committee meets with key stakeholders and is composed of experts in the relevant fields of the degrees under evaluation—becomes a key element in verifying that the programmes are being delivered according to the quality standards established for higher education in the arts. All official degrees offered at higher education arts centres must undergo this process within six years of their initial verification or most recent accreditation in order to continue being part of the educational offering.
La Specific Arts and Humanities Committee of AQU Catalunya’s Institutional and Programme Review Commission (CAIP) has issued favourable reports for the degrees listed below.
