Favourable report on the accreditation of seven doctoral programmes from the Universitat de Barcelona
These doctoral programmes will be taught at Universitat de Barcelona's Doctoral School.

One of AQU Catalunya's many functions is the accreditation of university degree programmes, i.e. verification based on an external visit that the degree programme is being carried out as planned. This is a process that all official university degrees must go through within six years of their initial validation or last accreditation. For this reason, the doctoral programmes in Food and Nutrition; in Biotechnology; in Drug Research, Development and Control; in Citizenship and Human Rights; in Law and Political Science; in Economics; and in Business have recently undergone the accreditation process.
The Specific commission for doctorate programmes of the Institutional and Programme Review Commission issued favourable reports on the operation of the doctorate programmes, following external visits to demonstrate the proper functioning of these degrees.

AQU Catalunya has sent these reports to the Spanish Universities Council, which will resolve the process with the corresponding accreditation. Once the accreditation process is complete, AQU Catalunya will publish the results and issue the quality label and certificate of accreditation for the degree programmes, which can be consulted on EUC Studies, the web portal with all the information on the quality of official university degree programmes offered in Catalonia.
