Favourable report on the verification of the doctoral programme in Bioinformatics
The doctoral programme in Bioinformatics taught jointly by Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universitat de Barcelona, Universitat de Girona, Universitat de Lleida, Universitat de Vic-Universitat Central de Catalunya, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Universitat Rovira i Virgili and Universitat Oberta de Catalunya has been revalidated due to substantial changes and favourably assessed by AQU Catalunya. The revalidated degree can be taught as of the 2022-2023 academic year.

The doctoral programme in Bioinformatics is taught jointly in eight of the universities of the Catalan higher education system: Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universitat de Barcelona, Universitat de Girona, Universitat de Lleida, Universitat de Vic-Universitat Central de Catalunya, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Universitat Rovira i Virgili and Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. This title, which has undergone revalidation due to substantial changes, has received a positive report from the AQU Catalunya Institutional and Programme Review Commission Specifc Committee for doctorate programmes.
Once the Universities Council has issued the corresponding resolution, taking into account the report issued by AQU Catalunya, the degree programme may be offered as of the next academic year 2022-2023.
