AQU Catalunya has completed the fieldwork of the study on the employment of people with higher university degrees in 2023. From 8 November 2022 to 5 May 2023, more than 40,000 surveys were collected from people with degrees in the Catalan Higher Education System to find out about their employment.
With more than 40,000 surveys collected, the eighth edition of the employment outcomes study of degree holders in the Catalan Higher Education System is coming to an end, a three-year study whose main objective is to collect information at degree programme level in order to improve the study programmes offered and guide future students.
The classes under study were: bachelor's degree students who graduated in 2019 and 2020 (except Medicine, where the years considered are 2016 and 2017), students with bachelor's degree-equivalent arts qualifications, master's degree students who graduated in 2018 and 2019, and PhDs who defended their thesis in 2018 and 2019.
The balance obtained provisionally is as follows:

The Agency would like to highlight the extensive collaboration of the qualified participants, which has enabled us to obtain a response from almost 1 in 2 of the people contacted, once again positioning the survey as one of the most representative in this area on an international scale.
In the coming weeks, the data collected will be refined and analysed and the results are scheduled to be presented publicly in July 2023.
