Guidelines for the Validation and Modification of Dual Mentions in University Degree Programmes published
The document should serve as a guide for the university centres that want to incorporate the dual mention in their degree programme validation reports, as well as for the commissions that must assess the achievement of the standards and criteria in university degree programmes.

The dual mention is a curricular structure developed by Royal Decree 822/2021, which will allow official university bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes to develop a training project that will combine learning in the university centre and in one or several collaborating entities (company, social or trade union organisation, institution or administration), and which will be specified in the execution of an employment contract that will allow the development of the student’s training. The percentage of credits developed in the collaborating entity will be between 20% and 40% of the total in the case of bachelor’s degrees, and between 25% and 50% in the case of master’s degrees.
AQU Catalunya has drawn up these Guidelines to facilitate the work of university centres and assessment commissions in all matters relating to this new type of curricular structure.
The Guidelines for the Validation and Modification of Dual Mentions in University Degree Programmes develop the “Standards and Criteria for Quality Assessment of University Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees” for the validation and subsequent implementation of dual mentions, and is structured in the eight dimensions of assessment of the validation established in Royal Decree 822/2021.
