The Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Barcelona have both obtained favourable final reports from AQU Catalunya for certification of the centre's Internal Quality Assurance System
AQU Catalunya has certified the Internal Quality Assurance Systems (SGIQ) of the University of Barcelona Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Economics and Business.
SGIQ certification ensures that the system is implemented and deployed in the centre, and that it is suitable for ensuring the quality of the degrees taught there. SGIQ certification is the necessary first step to be eligible for institutional accreditation of the centre, which enables the accreditation of all official university degrees taught there for a renewable period of five years.
