AQU Catalunya's Governing Board held its second meeting of the year via videolink, which included two new people representing the Student Council for Catalan Universities (CEUCAT), Álvaro Mellado, from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia/UPC, and Dana Sánchez, from the University of Barcelona/UB.
In the meeting, the Governing Board endorsed:

- the preliminary draft of the Action Plan and budget plan for 2021, conditional upon the budgetary instructions issued by the Government of Catalonia's Executive Council;
- the planning of site visits to faculties and schools delivering recognised study programmes for 2021;
- the commitment to encourage institutional accreditation in quality assurance procedures;
- the appointment of members to the Institutional and Programme Review Committee and the Research Assessment Committee.
The preliminary findings of the 2020 outcomes survey of graduates of first degree/bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programmes at Catalan universities were also presented, together with the updated and upgraded version of the EUC web portal, which will integrate all of the current websites (Winddat, EUC study programmes, EUC data and EUC reports) together and is to be presented publicly before the end of this year.
The Governing Board also ratified the agreements entered into and signed by AQU Catalunya between March and June 2020, multi-year contracting expenditure and a proposal to transfer credit from current transfers to capital.
