AQU Catalunya has issued a positive report for the accreditation of the Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology and Biomedicine, offered by the Faculty of Sciences at the Universitat de Girona.

Among its functions, AQU Catalunya is responsible for issuing accreditation reports for university degrees, to verify—through an external review—that the programs are being properly implemented. This is a process that all official university degrees offered at institutions without institutional accreditation must undergo within six years of their initial verification or last accreditation in order to remain part of the academic offerings.
The Specific Committee for Sciences of AQU Catalunya’s Institutional and Program Evaluation Committee (CAIP) has issued a positive report on the Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology and Biomedicine, offered by the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Girona. The master’s program received a positive report following an external visit to the institution, which confirmed the proper functioning of the program.

AQU Catalunya forwards the accreditation reports to the Consejo de Universidades, the body responsible for deciding on the accreditation process. AQU Catalunya publishes the accreditation results and issues the accreditation seal and certificate for the corresponding degree, which are available on EUC Estudis, a web portal containing all information about the quality of official university degrees in Catalonia.
