Positive report on the accreditation of six higher artistic education programmes
AQU Catalunya has issued a positive report for the accreditation of two Bachelor's degrees and four Master's degrees of the Escola Superior de Conservació i Restauració de Béns Culturals de Catalunya (ESCRBCC), of LCI Barcelona and of the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya.

AQU Catalunya's duties include issuing accreditation reports on higher artistic education studies to validate, through an external visit, that these degree programmes are being carried out in an appropriate manner. This process must be passed by all higher artistic degree programmes within six years of their initial validation or of their last accreditation in order to continue to form part of the educational offer.
The Specific Commission for Arts and Humanities part of the Institutional and Programme Review Commission (CAIP) of AQU Catalunya has issued the positive accreditation reports corresponding to the Bachelor's degree in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Assets and the Master's degree in Higher Artistic Education in Conservation and Restoration of Photographic Heritage, taught by the Escola Superior de Conservació i Restauració de Béns Culturals de Catalunya. A positive report has also been issued for the Master's degree in Higher Artistic Education in Experiential Interior Design, given by LCI Barcelona.
The commission has also issued three more positive accreditation reports: the Bachelor's degree in Music, the Master’s in Advanced Studies in Musical Interpretation: Classical and Contemporary Music Instruments and the Master's degree in Advanced Flamenco Studies . These three higher artistic courses are taught by the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC). Unlike the rest, these three degree programmes have been jointly accredited between AQU Catalunya and MusiQue, the agency specialised in the assessment of the quality of educational programmes and higher education centres in the field of music.
An external visit to the centre where the courses are taught was carried out in order to issue the six AQU Catalunya reports, which showed that the courses were functioning properly. The accreditation reports issued by AQU Catalunya for the following degree programmes can be found on the EUC Informes website:
AQU Catalunya sends the accreditation reports for Master's courses to the Ministry of Education and undergraduate courses to the Government of Catalonia's Department of Education as competent institutions.
AQU Catalunya publishes the accreditation results and issues the accreditation seal and certification for the degree programme in question, both of which are available on the EUC Estudis website, where all the information on the quality of university degree programmes and higher artistic education in Catalonia can be found.
